Week of 10/8-10/12 I have graded 3 of 5 classes’ Quizzes. I have to say that I have some concerns….

October 8, 2007 by reginachen

Please! Be aware that all quizzes and tests/assessments are cumulative.  This means that you have to go back and look over material that we studied before.  Looking at the quizzes I have graded so far, it seems to me that students are only studying new material.  Between 30-50% of each quiz or test will be material  sw-divergent covering the stuff taught at the beginning of the year.

Monday:  Plate Tectonic Notes continued/ go over quizzes

Tuesday:  I am out for a workshop-Chapter 11 note taking sheets sections 1-3

Hello Everyone!  Science Fair Packets went home last week detailing the process.  Topics are due today- I will approve or disapprove.  Research papers (1-3 pages) with at least three sources are due October 19th.  This is the background research that must take place before the hypothesis is formed, that way it really will be an “educated” guess!  Use the composition book for this paper-be sure to use ink!!!  I want to see the mistakes and corrections that are made.

Camp Thunderbird Packets went out Friday- Due Oct 15th.  We need Parents to volunteer!
